PHITSANULOK, Thailand – July 16, 2025 – Naresuan University (NU) and Tzu Chi University (TCU), Taiwan, officially renewed their Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for academic and research cooperation in a formal ceremony held at the Naresuan 304 Meeting Room, Office of the President.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarintip Tantanee, President of Naresuan University, who extended a warm welcome to
Prof. Dr. Ingrid Liu, President of Tzu Chi University, Taiwan, and her distinguished delegation. This renewal represents a significant milestone in the enduring partnership between the two institutions, building upon eleven years of successful collaboration since the original agreement was established in 2014.

President Tantanee graciously accepted this invitation, further solidifying the diplomatic and academic ties between the institutions.

Prof. Dr. Liu’s visit extends beyond the ceremonial signing, as she will deliver a special keynote address titled
“All Plants Have Therapeutic Functions: Tzu Chi Phytomedicine Research” at the 21st Naresuan National Academic Conference on July 17, 2025. Additionally, TCU delegates will serve as moderators and invited speakers at the conference, demonstrating the active academic engagement between the institutions.
